Project Details
Hazardous Materials Abatement, Demolition and Salvage
This project consisted of demolition and abatement of the former Hammond Mill. The mill was first built in 1910 and was the first in Canada to hire women as early as 1918. It was also once noted as the largest cedar mill in the world. Deconstruction of this facility included the sale of reusable equipment and recycling of materials, resulting in a net zero cost to the owners.
