Hazardous Materials Abatement and Demolition
For this project, we completed the demolition of the former Ballantyne Pier buildings, several outbuildings, and the Heatley Road Overpass as part of the Port of Vancouver’s Centerm Expansion Project. The former cruise ship terminal building was almost 1 km long and sat out over the water, so extra precautions were taken to ensure the marine environment was protected. This high-profile project saw over 3,000 tonnes of steel and 30,000 cubic meters of concrete recycled.
