Corkscrew Roller Coaster

Project Details

This project consisted of the demolition, salvage, and steel recycling of the Corkscrew roller coaster at Playland amusement park in Vancouver, BC.

At a total track length spanning 2,400 feet and at a height reaching 75 feet, the Corkscrew Roller Coaster was permanently closed and put up for sale in May 2019. In order to make room for Playland's renovation and expansion, the structure needed to be dismantled and removed from the site.

Clearview carefully dismantled the Corkscrew roller coaster, preserving the steel track to be relocated to its new owner.
